The Safety Guide on the Safety of Nuclear Fuel Reprocessing Facilities gives recommendations on how to meet the requirements established in the Safely Requirements publication on the Safety of Nuclear Fuel Cycle Facilities, IAEA Safety Standards Series No. NS-R-5 (Rev. 1). It covers the safety of reprocessing facilities, the protection of workers, the public and the environment and does not include Thorex process and waste storage and conditioning.
