Toxicology that focuses on the hazardous properties of chemicals encountered at work and the risk of these properties being manifested under working conditions is known as Industrial Toxicology. Toxicological investigation on industrial chemicals became more regular and refined from 1940s, but it is true that in last 50 years the number of chemical substances in the occupational environment identified as a potent toxicological effects. Different methods have been undertaken to avoid the health hazards of workers after chemical exposure in occupational environment. The methods are as follows : 1) Toxicological hazard identification - classification and labeling. 2) Material safety data sheets (MSDSs). 3) Information, assessment and testing of new Industrial Chemicals. 4) Risk-Assessment Programme 4.1 Determination of exposure limits 4.2 Emergency data sheet 5) Biological monitoring.
