摘要

This special section hosts extended versions of papers selected from the special track on Object-Oriented Languages and Systems (OOPS) at the 24th ACM Symposium on Applied Computing (SAC 2009), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, March 9-12,2009. The aim of OOPS special track is to foster the development of extensions to existing 00 languages and platforms, as well as the design and implementation of new languages and platforms embracing and enhancing the object-oriented paradigm. Particularly of interest for OOPS are papers that provide a thorough analysis covering the following aspects: modeling, prototyping, design, implementation, concurrency and distribution, code generation, analysis, verification, testing, evaluation, deployment, maintenance, reuse, and software evolution and adaptation.
