ESPI, with Nicolas Peter leading the drafting on this occasion, has set out the challenging task of preparing a Yearbook on Space Policy, with the clear aim of establishing it as a 'must have' annual purchase for all academic institutes with faculties in space, as well as well-informed professionals in the sector. The work is global in scope but mostly written with a self-confessed European perspective. For the first edition the period addressed is actually 18 months, from the start of 2006 through to mid-2007. The aim is then to follow this with mid-year to mid-year editions available a little over six months after the period ends.
