摘要

The RSA is the international forum for regional development, policy and research established in 1965. We focus on economic, environmental and social policy studies in a regional context, and operate at the interface of academia and policy and practice. Members receive our two journals Regional Studies (10 issues p.a.) and Spatial Economic Analysis (4 issues p.a.); our members' magazine Regions (4 issues p.a.) and Regional Insights which is dedicated to promoting work by and for early career researchers (2 issues p.a.). In late 2010, in the light of public sector austerity measures affecting Higher Education in many countries, the Association's Board announced a £250,000 investment to support the regional studies community. Members may apply for this funding to support research networks, conferences and events, to obtain conference bursaries and travel awards and to set up Country Sections. The Association is also pleased to offer members use of the post-nominals MeRSA and FeRSA and recognises excellence in the field through its prestigious award schemes.
