摘要

As geodetic surveying, land surveying, mapping, and other geospatial professions have moved further into the twenty-first century, the American Association for Geodetic Surveying (AAGS) has continued to meet the educational needs of those professions through the support of young surveyors and survey and GIS associations. Working with various governmental agencies, AAGS has helped to develop goals and procedures which will become part of the day-to-day use of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and the geodetic knowledge that GNSS users will require in the future. This paper discusses some of the programs facilitated by AAGS members over the past three years.
