In the construction of workwear one important aspect is often disregarded: the skin contact. The so-called "skin sen-sorial comfort" is crucial for the acceptance by and well-being of the user. Poor skin contact properties are the cause of many complaints and, sometimes, even skin diseases.rnThe skin sensorial comfort comprises the contact sensations of a textile with skin. These feelings can be pleasant (such as smooth or soft) but also can be unpleasant (for instance, stiff, rough or clinging to sweat wetted skin). Already, workwear has to fulfil several other demands including durability, protection, easy laundering, design and breathability.
