Ahlstrom is to increase its prices for filter media products for transportation, blaming the continued rise of costs for raw materials.rnPrices of key raw materials used for the manufacturing of filter media have continued to rise steadily over recent months, says the manufacturer and supplier of high-performance nonwovens and speciality papers, which has its headquarter in Helsinki, Finland.rnThe price increases will affect filtration grades produced by Ahlstrom around the world and sold for transportation filtration applications. The level of the increase will depend on the markets,the constituents of the products and existing agreements, but will be as much as 10%.
