The mythical legend Too Human is finally out-an experience that took a thousand turns and detours, a story that took more than 14 years to get scripted and was originally slated to be told on the Playstation One, made its way from one console generation to the other and mounted to carry almost 6 discs worth of heavy content. But ironically, it turns out to be nothing less than a monumental letdown. The game does not look or play too badly at the start. In fact, most gamers would agree that it doesn't play like an average title at all. With a Diablo-esque leveling and tree-based skill structure at its core, it offers loads of customization options and tons of weapons and armor, and not to mention the ability to paint your gear to match it all up. To be honest, almost everything can be customized, and that is definitely the best thing about this game. But when you put all the customization and menu options aside and take other things into consideration, that's when it really starts to break. The combat system is uncooperative, lacks precision and is a total mess. Standard battles are terrible, and the boss fights are nothing but poorly designed sequences.
