While nobody will prosecute you for buying a netbook which doesn't 'look' good, it always feels good when your netbook gets second glances. And this is where the Lenovo S10 scores, where apart from displaying its adequate performance, it will glue your eyeballs to it. Our test unit came dressed in snow white, and amid the "ooh's" and "aah's" we heard while unveiling it, we realized this is the cheapest netbook that money can buy for a 10" screen size. While the most inexpensive contender Aspire One misses out on features like Bluetooth, the Lenovo Ideapad S10 provides real value for the money. It also has an ExpressCard slot (a first in netbooks) to plug in your wirefree data cards. About 30 GB of the total 160 GB storage space is dedicated to the recovery partition which enables you to recover your data and the installed OS, in case of a system crash. The only thing is the average battery backup of 2 hrs & 15 mins. Oh well, you can always carry a spare battery along.
