The International Wool Textile Organisation (IWTO) will hold its 84th annual congress this May 18-20 in the Chinese port city of Zhangjiagang. Wool industry leaders from around the world gathering there will explore the sustainable future of wool. The theme of the congress is: Wool Forward; and presentations will cover such topics as overview on future market and consumer developments; latest innovation, research and technological developments for wool; developments on wool's environmental credentials along the processing supply chain; strategic co-operations along the supply chain delivering wool excellence by the example of Cool Wool; new wool products, innovative brands and meeting the needs of the consumers of today and tomorrow; ingredient branding in global retailing; the future of wool in innovation textiles; etc.
