The SDC Education Charity India, a chapter of the UK-based Society of Dyers and Colourists (SDC), will hold its 11th international conference on February 20, 2015, in Mumbai. This one-day conference with the theme 'innovations for sustainable textile production: connecting the dots' will address the problems the textile industry faces with regards to the effective use of fast depleting natural resources. The conference will discuss possible solutions for cleaner and greener chemicals application in the textile industry; sustainable processing techniques, better processing machinery and good effluent treatment methods. Speakers of global repute, particularly representatives of chemical companies, garment manufacturers, machinery manufacturers, laboratories and textile processors, will participate in panel discussions at this conference.
