Candy was the theme for the new spring and summer collections presented at the 20th edition of the Hong Kong Fashion Week last month; and many designers, manufacturers and buyers were in the candy bar or otherwise enjoying sugar-sweet colours in the halls of the exhibition. There were 1,268 exhibitors from 20 countries, including first-time exhibitors from Canada, Poland and Russia. China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Macau and Taiwan had put up group pavilions. The Fashion Week attracted 5,000 buyers from 3,376 companies.
