Martin Robson, Neil Hallettand Lee Caswell gave members a practical demonstration of their Flatliner repair system, their Plastic Repair Kit, the Inflatable Kevlar Dent Relief System and their CADIF infra-red drying system outside the office of Travelers Insurance in Redhill. Damaged panels were set up and the Flatliner pulling tabs were welded to the affected damaged areas, then the pull rod was slid through the eyelets of the tabs and the pulling frame was positioned with the base feet strategically placed on a stronger part of the undamaged part of the panel and secured. Members were invited by Martin's team to operate the equipment and start the pulling process. It became clear that the whole operation was very straightforward and required little effort from the operator; simply turning the central pull shaft started the pulling process.The damage started to come out in a gentle and effective manner. Significant results were achieved and what was a badly creased panel was back to its original contours within a very short space of time. Light dressing up of high spots and creases were required under tension, and once the system had been removed and the pulling tabs taken off by simply turning the tabs, the panels had regained their original shapes.
