The US Navy has exercised contract options funding the construction of the sixth and seventh Joint High Speed Vessels (JHSVs) as part of a 10-ship programme potentially worth more than US$ 1.6 billion. The construction contract for both vessels is valued at around US$313 million. With options for a further three vessels, the JHSV programme is set deliver a predictable revenue stream of US$347.3 million per year from 2012 to 2015.
