Michael Weiss and Hassan Hassan have produced a highly intelligible account that should be considered a must-read for those who wish to gain deeper insight into the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), whether policymaker or layman. The book in this respect stays close to its title, offering a look inside the 'Army of Terror' and revealing a deeper understanding of the group's workings than is currently available in the wider literature.
