Martin Campbell is SOE's new professional standards manager, having spent 25 years with the Royal Engineers where he served around the world. As part of his new role, Martin will oversee the professional standards and registration process for new members, ensuring registration goes smoothly and applicants have the right advice. Martin's engineering experience with the army ranges from small bridges in Kenya to forward operations bases in Afghanistan. A qualified teacher, he has taught engineering to Afghan soldiers, and oversaw the development of three departments in the Royal School of Military Engineering that taught technical construction trades to over 100 students.
