Ican't quite remember the auto parts store that originally touted this comical phrase in their advertising campaign. To the best of my recollection, it was from the late '80s or early '90s and they stereotyped a "typical" parts counterman who insisted, "this was why you should buy your parts from me as opposed to the competitor." His matching stereotypical accent made it funny and memorable.
