Technical reports on the dendrochronological analysis of timbers commissioned by the English Heritage Scientific Dating Service are issued in the Research Reports Series (EH Res Rep Ser). In 2011 the Research Reports Series replaced the Research Department Reports Series which was initiated in January 2006 to make available the results of work undertaken by EH's Research Department and by contractors and others with which it collaborates. It replaces the former Ancient Monuments Laboratory (AML) Reports Series, the Centre for Archaeology (CfA) Reports Series, and the Architectural Investigation Reports Series.
