The Pennsylvania State University Chapter of the Vertical Flight Society held its annual Rotor Day event on Oct. 12. The purpose of this science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) event is to provide elementary and middle school children the opportunity to learn about rotorcraft engineering, as well as aerospace engineering as a whole. This was done via a series of interactive stands and laboratory tours of some of Penn State's facilities.
