I don't know about you, but I have a serious case of spring seaplane fever. It's hard to believe we are already well into 2106, and the airshow and aviation event season is in full gear. We have a great lineup of articles in is edition of Water Flying including a review on the Mahindra Aerospace Airvan 8 on amphibious Wipaire floats written by our regular contributor and highly experienced Alaska seaplane pilot, Burke Mees. The Airvan is uniquely positioned to compete with the Cessna 206, and appears to be a serious contender.
