At dinner recently, a friend said he should write a book on cell phone etiquette. It was one of those bold statements made out of frustration from hearing cell phones ringing at inappropriate times.All of us have made similar "need to or ought to do something" comments, usually with cause. But we never follow up. Even so, his point was clear and was made after a three-week tour of the Spring gas meetings. The cause in this case was a cell phone that continually rang at an adjacent table. Worse, the calls were never urgent, like confirming a golf date for the next morning.
