The Geospatial Information & Technology Association's (GITA) 19th Annual GIS for Oil and Gas Conference and Exhitition will be held September 17-19 this year at the JW Marriott Hotel in Houston, Texas.The two-and-a-half-day conference includes introductory and advanced workshops a series of paper presentations and a products and services exhibition. GITA says that attendance has grown significantly since the first event in 1992, also held in Houston. Last year, the conference was host to nearly 550 attendees and 39 exhititing companies.
