The StackFlowMaster gas metering system uses a Torbar averaging pitot tube flowmeter to measure the flowrate of stack gas. It features a new display and control interface that performs zero and span checks without manual intervention or any additional equipment. The system creates a very low pressure loss, and can automatically purge the flowmeter to prevent the buildup of solid contamination that may affect the flow readings. The StackFlowMaster consists of the FPD581 metering probe and the FPD585 interface unit. The FPD581 metering probe has an optional resistance temperature detector (RTD), a five-valve manifold, a multivariable transmitter, and purging ports.
