摘要

The ethylenediamine (en) extraction of an alloy of nominal composition Rb4As2Te4 and subsequent concentration of the solution gave Rb4As2Te4 .(en) (1) as dark red crystals in 40% yield. The single crystal X-ray diffraction data revealed a novel dimeric [As2Te4](4-) anion, which consists of an As-As bonded As-4(4+) dimer bonded to four Te atoms. Each of the As atoms are in a trigonal pyramidal coordination environment. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd. [References: 41]
