The importance of implementing various quality systems and programs by developing countries is discussed. Efforts need to be taken by the developing countries and prevailing difficulties in implementing quality systems and programs are discussed. The benefits that can be experienced through such approaches are given. The implementation processes of quality systems and quality management programs in four Fijian companies are presented.
