The Annual Joint Meeting on Medicinal Chemistry, organized by the "Medicinal Chemistry Division" of "Societe Royale Chimie (SRC)" and the "Medicinal and Bio-organic Chemistry section" of "Koninklijke Vlaamse Chemische Vereniging (KVCV)", under the topic "Small molecules, Antibodies and Natural Products - Multiples Faces of Medicinal Chemistry" was held at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, on November 7,2008. It gave the more than 160 registered participants the opportunity to learn more about current trends in drug design and medicinal chemistry.
