The calculation way of the efforts of the pillars between chambers at mining of seam anhydrite deposits is presented. The efforts calculated by means of analytical method are compared with the efforts determined basing on the theory of elastic-ity. The stress pattern in anhydrite and its surrounding have been obtained using mathematical modelling with finite element and for geological conditions of anhydrite and gypsum deposit at Lubichow. Similar values of efforts in pillars determined by means of the both methods and stress patterns in the models MES in the surrounding of an inclined anhydrite seam have been obtained.
