This month is packed full of informative events to help you and your business. We've covered many different industries to keep you up-to-date with the latest Standards information.Standards Australia is holding a series of one-day workshops to help you apply effective risk management principles to your next event. This workshop provides you with the practical skills and documents that you can use to implement a risk management strategy for all of your future events. Event management best practice means that you have to effectively manage all the areas of an event such as sponsorship, venue, administration and finance. Risk management helps you do this. It is a system that assists in organising and producing a quality, accountable event. It is essential that any one responsible for an event-sponsors, client companies or event organisations-have an active risk management plan in place. Insurance companies are increasingly demanding a written risk management strategy from event companies.
