Prima Laser Tool's new Domino multiaxis laser system combines 2-D and 3-D cutting capabilities in a single machine. The system can cut flat parts, shaped parts, or per-form bevel cutting. The five-axis system has a compact size with a cantilever design. It has an X-Y-Z working capacity of 120 by 60 by 15 inches. In addition to these three axes, the laser head rotates 360 degrees continuous and +-135 degrees. It is suitable for conventional 2-D flat sheet work and complex 3-D pieces at any head orientation, according to the manufacturer. The optional CNC rotary axis also provides tube cutting capability. Automated pallet changer, automatic material handling, and storage unit options also are available.
