The results of a survey to determine thetraining needs and normative experiencesof temporary government documentslibrarians are presented. The resultsindicate that temporary librarians tend towork in academia, have been inlibrarianship for a shorter time period, andhave fewer technical processing skills thanpermanent documents librarians.
