摘要

Committee BD-O1O, Cement, is revising the AS/NZS 2350 series. Method 1 is intended to supersede AS 2349-1991, Method of sampling port/and and blended cements. In the preparation of this Standard, the Committee has adopted aspects of overseas Standards relating to the sampling of cement, specifically BS EN 196-7 and ASTM C183 for sampling. The Standard provides greater detail on sampling procedures in assessing compliance with required specifications. These include the types of sample permitted, the procedures to be used in obtaining the sample, the types of samples which may be used; and a method of verifying the homogenisation of the final sample. The Standard describes the methods to be followed and the provisions to be complied with for taking samples of cement representative of given lots for testing to assess the quality of products prior to, during or after delivery.
