As Tom Mitchell traveled around Florida and California as part of the second Emerging Leader Development Program, he says one trait really stood out with all of the successful people with whom the class met—passion."I think the big takeaway is being around passionate people," says Mitchell, 38, and vice president of Vero Beach, Fla.-based Riverfront Packing Co.
