摘要

It has always been a problem for enterprises in Taiwan to come up with an efficient measurement for business performance. The paper employs 15 larger-scale Taiwanese Insurance Companies as the subjects and adopts 24 different categories of financial ratios as the variables used to assess business performance for insurance companies by means of five business indexes including capital structure, profitability, debt-paying ability, business performance, and capital employment. Further, this study applies grey relational grade to accomplish the measurement of financial elements for insurance companies and to found a measurement used to assess business performance for insurance companies.
