Wildstar is a collection of clones of wild cherry (Prunus Avium), a tree native to Britain, geneticallyselected (not modified!) for their silvicultural properties as well as for their resistance to cherry canker. It is capable of producing a high value timber and has the potential to revolutionise our approach to commercial timber growing.
