Demonstrate proper technique of introducing liquid into a PVC bag.Before compounding a preparation, the pharmacist compiles a master worksheet detailing the formula, components, compounding directions, sample label, and evaluation and testing requirements of the medication to be compounded.The pharmacy technician then will work off of a preparation worksheet that contains the manufacturer name and lot number and expiration date for each compounding component, date of preparation and personnel involved in preparation, storage requirements, and equipment used during aseptic preparation.Sterile products should be labeled with the following information:1. Patient name and patient identification.2. Control or lot number.3. All solution and ingredient names, amount, strength, and concentration (when applicable).4. Expiration date and expiration time if applicable.5. Prescribed administration schedule.6. Auxiliary labels.7. Storage requirements.8. Identification of responsible pharmacist and technician.9.
