摘要

It has been reported that approximately one third of repairs of removable prostheses are related to the debonding or fracture of denture teeth. Most detachments occur in the anterior areas and may result from localized stress concentration. When repairing a debonded or fractured tooth, the occlusal relationship must be carefully evaluated to prevent heavy occlusal/excursive contacts on the repaired tooth. If a debonded tooth is intact and can be placed back in the denture, an index can be made to position the tooth for repair. Other techniques, such as arranging a tooth and securing it with a wax or stone index for repair,or repair with composite resin, have been reported in the literature.
