Local makers of cold-rolled steel sheets (CR) and coated flat products are anticipated to hardly reduce their heavy burden from the high prices for hot-rolled coils (HR) even in the first quarter of next year. Of course, they will fix their import prices for HR in the price talks with the Chinese and Japanese steelmakers for the first quarter of next year, but the suppliers of HR in those countries are known to have already suggested considerably high prices in their offers.
