Governments various regulations were found to act as obstacles to corporate investments. According to a result of the on the survey by the Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) on the top 100 enterprises in terms of sales across the country about their actual conditions of hurdles in the corporate strategic management caused by the government regulations, it was noted that various government regulations work as stumbling blocks, distorting corporate management greatly. 61.3 percent of the firms surveyed were found to have failed to implement managerial strategies such as investments and restructuring in a timely manner or are now experiencing difficulties in doing so due to a myriad of regulations. And 48.7 percent of those firms that answered the questionnaires have withdrawn or put on hold their investments.
