In current and previous issues of IJPP, there are reports of positive effects of new pharmaceutical services, but also of increasing workload in pharmacies, difficulties with large scale implementation and decreased job satisfaction. As an active community pharmacist I realise that we are really working very hard in the pharmacy, but am concerned to know whether this translates into improved quality of life for patients.
