摘要

Protein kinase Cα (PKC), a multifunctional Ca~(2+) - and phospholipid-dependent kinase is thought to play an important role in cellular signal transduction, growth regulation and tumorigenesis. Molecular cloning technique demonstrated that PKC was encoded by a multigene family. To date, at least 12 members of the PKC family have been identified. It is suggested that PKC isoforms differ in their cellular functions. In order to study the further role of specific PKC subtype in cell growth regulation,we constructed PKCα expressing plasmid and transferred it into human embryonic lung cells (2BS) by gene transfection, established and analyzed preliminarily the cell model overexpressing PKCα for the first time.
