In the previous work, we have studied the regularities of the formability, the chemical composition and melting behavior (congruent or incongruent melting) of the intermediate compounds of MeX-Me'X_2 and MeX-Me'X_3 type using the method of combining chemical bond parameter with pattern recognition or artificial neural networks. Recently, similar techniques have been used to study the regularities of other halide systems. In this work, some empirical regularities about the formability of MeX_2-Me' X_3, 2MeX centre dot Me' X_4 or 3MeX centre dot Me'X_4 type compounds are investigated.
