摘要

The zoning distribution of metallic deposits refers to the regular zoning arrangement of useful minerals or elements in space. If such zoning distribution is on the plane figure, it is called horizontal zoning; if zoning distribution is vertical, it is called vertical zoning. The zoning distribution of metallic deposit was first discussed by Spurr. He reported Cr-Ni-Cu-Zn-Pb-Ag zoning around mafic intrusions, Au-Cu-Zn-Pb-Ag zoning around intermediate rocks and Sn-W-Cu-Zn-Pb-Ag around felsic rocks.
