摘要

The cold cracking is an increasing problem concerning the weldability of high-strength low alloy steels. In the present paper some questions of cold cracking (CC) in viewpoint of fracture mechanics is described. At first the main focus of the analysis was the influence of hydrogen-assisted cracking on the mathematically-physical approaches. Besides, there was made a short synthesis of capability of utilisation of fracture mechanics parameters in estimate conditions of CC, and mainly concentrating on the stress intensity factors(SIF): K_(I) K_(Ith) K_(IC), and on the normalised parameter k_(nor) = K_(Ith)/K_(IC)
