摘要

The novel tricyclic polychalcogenide anions [Sb_2Se _(12)]~(2-) and [Te_(12)]~(4-) were obtained by reduction of elemental selenium and tellurium with Li_3Sb and subsequent crystallization with the crown ether 12-crown-4 in ethylenediamine. According to single-crystal structure analysis, [Li(12-crown-4) _2]_2[Sb_2Se_(12)] consists of two six-membered (Se_5Sb)-rings that are connected via a central. (Sb _2Se_2)-ring. [Li(12-crown-4)_2] _4[Te_(12)](12-crown-4)_2 contains the tricyclic [Te_(12)]~(4-) anion, consisting of two four-membered tellurium rings and a central Tegring. EDX analysis proves that the latter compound does not contain antimony.
