摘要

An inorganic-organic vanadate compound [V(6)o(12)(OCH3)(4)(dmbPY)(4)center dot H2O] (dmbpy = 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine) has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, UV spectra and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes in monoclinic system, space group P2(1) (No. 14), a = 11.317(2) angstrom, b = 18.557(3) angstrom, c = 14.630(3) angstrom, beta = 101.58(4)degrees, V = 3012.5(9) angstrom(3), and Z = 2. The crystal structure consists of a new hexavanadate cluster and four dmbpy groups which directly coordinated to vanadium through nitrogen atoms. The hydrogen bonds contribute to the formation of the three-dimensional supramolecular structure. Fluorescent analyses show that it exhibits intense blue photoluminescence in DMF solution at room temperature.
