This little story was written by my grandson, Stephen John Matthew Considine for a 4~H reading. He is only seven years old and had to have help with the typing. It took him several days to get it the -way lie wanted it. You can tell he lias been raised around goats and known something of the problems off goats and coyotes, I thought some young readers might enjoy it. This is the story of a goat named Carla. She was a very prclly goat. She was all black and had won many trophies at the goat shows. Shewas also a very friendly goal. Her owner, Stephen, treated her like she was the best goat in the world! Stephen owned five hundred goats. He took very good care of each and every one, but Carla was his very favorite. Stephen liked Slaving his own goat farm. His biggest worry was the coyotes. They were always trying to kill and eat his goals.
