摘要

Arterial spin labeling (ASL) magnetic resonance imaging (MKI) is a noncontrast technique that can quantify tissue; blood flow. It is most commonly applied to the brain (1) and kidney (2); however, it also has potential application to other organs, including the heart (3). Used for the heart, ASL might eventually play a role in cardiac pharmacological stress testing, where it could be used to detect inducible ischemia due to coronary artery disease (CAD).
