摘要

Blends containing poly(vinyl chloride) and 9-(2,3-epoxypropane)carbazole in different weight ratios were subjected to investigations using thermogravimetric analysis coupled with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The effect of additive on the polymer degradation process was studied. It was found that 9-(2,3-epoxypropane)carbazole causes an increase in the onset temperature of hydrogen chloride emission by about 20-25 degrees C.
