摘要

The effects of melt superheating treatment on microstructure of Mg_2Si/Al~Si-Cu composite is investigated. The results show that, with the increasing of melt superheating treatment temperature, the morphology of the primary Mg_2Si particulates change from coarse dendritic to equiaxed, and their size decreases from larger than 150 to ~40 mu m. The eutectic Mg2Si phase changed from Chinese script type to massiveness and/or needle like.
